About The Studio





CITY SOUND STUDIOS recording studio Bradford, is a modern purpose built recording studio in Bradford, West Yorkshire offering a range of services including;
Production, Recording, Mixing, Mastering, Songwriting, Tuition & More.

The studio is purpose built and has a great atmosphere for writing and recording as well as learning music.

The Studio is owned by local professional Songwriter / Producer / Musician Danny Yates, who over the past 18 years has been involved in the music industry
both inside and outside of the studio.




Danny has enjoyed success a touring musician and songwriter

throughout the UK, Europe, USA and Japan.


Danny has produced songs that have featured on the likes of BBC Radio 1 & 2, Planet Rock Radio, SKY TV, ESPN and had 10,000,000 streams worldwide.Danny has enjoyed being a touring musician alongside artists including:


Kasabian, Keane, The Wombats, The Enemy, Kaiser Cheifs, Leeds Festival & more.


In the past Danny has worked in the studio alongside industry producers such as;

Sean Genockey
(Manic Street Preachers, Futureheads, Starsailor, Black Crowes)

Pete Miles
(The King Blues, Sonic Boom Six, Futures)

Paul Corckett
(Biffy Clyro, The Cure, Cooper Temple Clause, Suede)

Danny has also worked out of a variety of commercial
recording studios including;
EMI Studios, Holne Bridge Studios, Moles Studios
and the world famous Rockfield Studios in Wales.

Danny's own recording studio is now based in the idyllic village of Clayton in Bradford, West Yorkshire and is within easy reach to; Leeds, Halifax, Huddersfield, Wakefield and Manchester etc.
